We inspect the lens elements (fungus, scratches, internal dust), focus ring, aperture blades, optical stabilisation and autofocus. A lens with clean elements and precise AF gets the best grade.
We accept all common mounts: Canon EF/RF, Nikon F/Z, Sony E/A, Fuji X, Micro 4/3, Leica M/L, as well as third-party lenses (Sigma, Tamron, Zeiss, Tokina, Samyang).
Minor dust is normal and does not affect image quality. However, fungus or scratches on the elements significantly reduce value.
Ideally yes. A complete lens (front/rear caps, hood, pouch) has a better trade-in value than a bare lens.
Yes, we accept manual lenses from recognised brands (Nikkor, Canon FD, Pentax, Minolta). Quality vintage lenses are in growing demand among videographers.
Each product page indicates the lens mount. Check that your body uses the same mount, or that an adapter ring exists (e.g. EF to RF, F to Z).
Yes, you can submit an estimate for each lens separately or as a bundle. Bundles with a compatible body often have an attractive combined value.
Yes, but the condition of the AF motor is taken into account in the evaluation. A slow or noisy AF reduces the value compared to a unit in perfect working order.
